Under the Surface
The network may seem quiet, but so many good things have been happening behind the scenes. We’ve been connecting with congregations, organizations, and leaders around the confessional Lutheran digi-sphere. As we listen to today’s conversations and consider the initiatives surfacing in our church, we believe more and more in the urgent need for a space like the Lutheran Network.
Fresh Updates
A long list of new features have recently been added to the network and are available for use within your community. These include:
- ability to record/embed video of meetings & presentations (requires recording minutes for subscription)
- ability to record text transcription of meetings & presentations (requires transcription minutes)
- variable-visibility community landing page (with banner image and org logo)
- customizable group labeling (group, ministry, congregation, parish, chapter, fraternity, department)
- improved community group primary feed
- prayer feed (post prayers and signal that you’re praying for posted requests)
- events feed (set date w/ geographically-located or network video event) with attendance tracking
- post polls and visualize results (single choice, multiple choice, rating, ranking)
- directory map with geocoded communities and directory-listed groups
- community-level map with geocoded communities and community groups/events
- community and group level library for highlighting/promoting forum discussions
- reactions in DM comments
- numerous mobile device improvements
