About

Lutheran Network Logo

The confessional Lutheran family is comprised of a scattered, yet close-knit community of individuals and congregations. We are redeemed by the grace of God alone. We are anchored in the promises of His word alone. We are Christians, living out our faith in school, at home, on the farm, in the office and factory, and everywhere between. In Christ alone, we are together with His Church. The ministry at hand in each of our own congregations and communities fills our time. As such, opportunities to connect with others doing similar work are often few and far between. We meet up at conventions, conference, or other gathering, then go our separate ways. Though many of us listen to the same podcasts, read the same publications, and frequent like events, our discussions are fractured across various social media platforms and often disrupted by the noise of so many other things that vie for our attention. This forum is built as a haven – a network away from the noise of Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and the like. May it serve to strengthen the bonds between us all as our LORD establishes the work of our hands.

It is often said that the Lutheran world is so small. We aim to make it smaller by expanding our horizons via this digital space. Let us nurture this place as a secure and inviting environment – an online narthex, of sorts. Here, we intend to build and maintain community for the sake of Christ's work around the world. Consider this a place to convene, discuss, correspond, and engage with the varied work of the people, congregations, institutions, and organizations of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. May it be a place of edification, encouragement, and celebration among our fellow workers. May it be a place of prayer, where we gather together before the throne. May it be a place of story and celebration, where we gather around the table and retell the good works of our good God. May it be a place of learning, where we teach and admonish one another in the faith. And, may it be a place of sending, giving, and going, where we seek His Kingdom come on earth, taking our place and taking up our work in this great cause.

Hebrews 10:23-25
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised if faithful. And let us consider one another i order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
