Welcome to the this online community! We're excited to have you with us! The Lutheran family is comprised of sisters and brothers, families and households, scattered around the world. We are redeemed by the grace of God alone. We are anchored in the promises of His word alone. We are “ordinary” Christians, living out our faith in school, on the farm, in the office or factory, or simply at home. In Christ alone, we are together with His Church. The ministry at hand in each of our own congregations and communities fills our time. As such, opportunity to connect with others doing similar work are oft few and far between. We meet up once or twice per year at a conference or workshop, then go our separate ways. What if we had a space built to continue the conversations begun? What if we had an online network, away from the noise of Facebook, Twitter, and the like, that served to strengthen the bonds between us all?
Family Making a Home
It is often said that the Lutheran world is so small. We aim to make it smaller by expanding our horizons via this digital space. We provide this place as a secure, safe, and inviting environment – an online narthex, of sorts. Here, we intend to build and maintain community for the sake of Christ's work around the world. You will find this as a place to convene, discuss, correspond, and engage with the varied work of the Lutheran church at large. May this be a place of edification, encouragement, and celebration among our fellow workers. May this be a place of prayer, where we gather together before the throne. May this be a place of story and celebration, where we gather around the table and retell the good works of our good God. May this be a place of learning, where we teach and admonish one another in the faith. And, may this be a place of sending, giving, and going, where we seek His Kingdom come on earth, taking our place in this great cause.
Hebrews 10:23-25
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised if faithful. And let us consider one another i order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Why Lutheran?
As Lutherans, we have our unique offerings to the Church. So, let us gather and encourage one another in that. Still have questions on what it means to be Lutheran? Consider this series of articles by Chuck Lindquist:
